Hello, I am Clarance, the candy maker. I am the biggest Valentine's fan ever! I just love all this love! I have tried every single candy in the world, from Skittles, all the way to Hershey Kisses (my favorite). After craving all the candy, I decided to make my own piece of yumminess. I jotted down some names and ingredients for my candy. Next, I started to look at ones that I liked the best. Why I Can't Get A Shot
You're not going to believe this ,but I can't get my flu shot today. "And why not?", asked the doctor. Well... well... I can't get one because I had my shoulder replacement, don't you remember? "No I certainly do not.", replied the doctor. Well that's okay, but I still have a metal shoulder so I can't get a shot. "But don't you have two arms and two shoulders?", said the nurse. I do but you see, my other shoulder is allergic to the bandaid. "Well then don't put a bandaid on it.", answered the doctor. " But then it will bleed all over the place.", I replied. "Alright, you don't have to get your flu shot today but does it work on Friday at 2:15? You will have to miss a little bit of school but I would think that's okay." said the doctor. "I think that works, don't you sweet heart?" asked my mom. "Wo wo wo WO. That's when we have our class party and I am not going to miss that." I argued. "Well can we come at 3:30 on Friday?" asked mom. "Let me go ask." said Dr. Cribbs. Do do do do do do do, do do do do do do do. "I think that will work; however, we have other appiontments at 3:30 so we might be running a few minutes late." the doctor announced. "That will do. Thank you." mom said. "Goodbye!" "Goodbye!" And that's why I can't get my flu shot today.

I wish I could forget when I... because...
I wish I could forget the time I excluded somebody. I would like to forget this moment, because I, and the people and I was with, made the person we excluded feel they weren't good enough for us. We also made them feel like we were talking about her behind her back. I don't know why I excluded that girl, because she never did anything bad to me. The next day I came up to her and I told her that I was very sorry for my actions and that she was welcome to play with my friends and me from then on out. Now I am good friends with that person and even though we don't see each other much, we still like to play together. I difinitly regret what I did and will try to never exclude anyone again.
2013 resolution: My resolution this year is to organize my school supplies better. Also, I would like to finish all my long term assignments as early as I can.
I will complete my organization resolution by starting with a clean binder, cubby, and desk, etc. and working hard to keep old papers out of the above mentioned places. To avoid last minute of cramming in long term assignments, I will attempt to spread my work out. I have already cleared out my school supplies and started my long term assignments, and I will try to keep up my goals. That's the hard part!

Dear Margaret,
I miss you so much. I hope I can have the chance to see you soon or at least I can maybe skype you Carlyle, Aunt Allison, and Uncle Carlyle. I hope we can spend some part of Christmas break together and with Grandmom and Papa. We can make the sort of homemade hot chocolate recipe that I made up. If we go up to the Roost, we will be able to build giant snowmen and and sled down the driveway.
How is school for you? Are the uniforms okay? I am having a great time in school. My class is really good and I am about to get my little friend that's a kindergartner! They are so cute! What's exciting in your life?
I got pictures of your beach house after the hurricane. The water was soooooo high. I have never seen it as high as it was. But how was the actual house? I did not get pictures of that. I can't wait to hear what happened!

Bully Experience

It was a cool winter day when I witnessed someone being bullied. That person named A was getting poked constantly by B. A asked B to please stop. But the poking would not stop. It wasn't to anoying yet but after a month or so it was at the point where it was just a terrible situation. B started asking other people to start poking A, such as C and me. Niether of us did it because we knew it was cruel, and instead of asking B to stop the poking, and telling her that A was a good and nice freind, we just went along with her and said we would do it, but never really did. C and I made a good choice to not bully A, but we also made the choice to not tell B that she was really on A's nerves. That was not the best dicision we could have made.
Finaly A had the courage to go up to the teacher and tell her what was going on, and that she was being bullyed. The teacher was happy to help and came to the rescue immediately. B was so sorry that she wrote sorry notes to A, C, and me telling us that she was sorry she had bullyed us and would try to never do it again. I was so glad that long insident was over and was solved.
You can see that even just poking or tapping on your desk constantly is called bullying and is very anoying. Bullying is not just phisical it can also be verbal or you can use facial expretions such as rolling your eyes or making a weird face and pointing at someone. Bulling is trying to be prevented in schools and other areas around the USA. Bullying can make you popular in a very bad way. I don't think there are any bullies in fifth grade at Summit School and I wouldn't want there to be.

"You don't know that, you are just as big as me and so are all your cell parts,"said Planty.
"Well I am still better no matter what you say, I live for much longer than you do. You can be broken or eaten when ever someone wants to hurt you, but I can defend myself because I am strong," bragged Annie.
"Maybe I'm not very strong but I sure am prettier than you," replied Planty.
"We are both equally pretty and you know, we are both equally strong but in different ways," said Annie.
"You know you're right. We shouldn't be fighting, we should be playing and having a good time," agreed Planty.
